Session I:  Monday, June 20th - Friday, June 24th
1st through 12th grades (2004-2005) 1:00-5:00 pm

Session II:  Monday, June 27th - Friday, July 1st  
1st through 12th grades (2004-2005) 1:00-5:00 pm
theatre Department at USC Upstate

Classes will include a little creative dramatics, scene work, theatre games, warm ups, movement, team building, technical theatre (set design, stage makeup, costumes, and lighting) and, of course, FUN.  The Classes will prepare an informal performance of Charlotte's Web for the last day of the second week.  Auditions will be held during class on Tuesday, June 21.  Family and friends will be invited to the presentation

 

Tuition:  $135 for one week; both weeks, $240
If two or more children from the same family enroll in any 
of the classes, there will be a $10 discount per child.

 

Classes are being taught by Rich Robinson, Professor of Theatre at the University of South Carolina Upstate.  Mr. Robinson has extensive experience in children's theatre, design, and directing plays for children and adults.  Originally from California, he has taught in Houston, Texas, and West Palm Beach, Florida -- earning his Master of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.  In the summer of 2003, he directed the Youth Theatre's touring show The Fisherman and His Wife.  He and his wife Debbie have a ten year old daughter, Emily.
