CELEBRATING ITS 35TH SEASON, The Spartanburg Youth Theatre presents four productions each October - May season, using young actors and actresses, with three public performances and two days of school-time performances of each show. More than 12,000 Spartanburg County students attend the Youth Theatre annually. In addition, the Youth Theatre's professional staff teaches a variety of classes for students in grades K-12.

The second oldest in South Carolina, the Youth Theatre performs at the David W. Reid Playhouse in Camp Croft. Its administrative and ticket offices are located with its sponsor, the Spartanburg Little Theatre, on the second floor of the Arts Center (385 South Spring St.). The Youth Theatre also holds classes, auditions, and rehearsals in the Youth Theatre Room on the second floor.
