The Arts X Society is a broad group of young adults who encourage cultural giving and support creative programming in Spartanburg. The Arts X Society does not fund any one particular event or cultural group. Instead, money raised by the Arts X Society is pooled with other money raised by The Arts Partnership annual operation campaign, which funds our community’s arts educational enrichment programs for school-aged children, and nine local arts, science and history groups. This campaign also funds small grants up to $2,500 for cultural projects.
Nearly 150 Arts X Society members contributed a total of nearly $40,000 to The Arts Partnership’s United Arts Fund in 2007. The 2008 membership drive is underway. To become involved, call (864) 542-ARTS.
